From a very young age, I was captivated and inspired by the beauty and intricacy of flowers. My first memory as a child was actually of flowers. I was four years old and my mom was driving me to school when we passed a sea of red poppies growing beside the road. I eventually worked as a floral design specialist at a shop in Knoxville, TN where I learned valuable lessons in the mechanics of floristry as well as many different design techniques.
