I know what it’s like to miss something the second it’s over. Some of my favorite memories are frozen in grainy old prints of bare feet in hay fields, warm sun on my face, my siblings laughing just out of frame. Those moments shaped me. I still return to them when I need grounding. I grew up chasing the light, trying to bottle up feelings I couldn’t quite explain: freedom, joy, belonging. Old photos helped me understand them.
