My first experience with photography was through a travel course to New Mexico in college. I had an old Pentax Spotmatic and a map of Sante Fe. The professor’s only instructions, “Wander the streets and take photos along the way.” She used the beauty and experience of being in a new city to awaken our curiosity and creativity, and that is where my passion for photography began!
