My journey in photography started unexpectedly. My Papa had a huge passion for the art. He would take his camera on all his journeys with my Grandma. He took photos in Alaska, Mexico, Europe, South America and numerous states throughout the US. He died in January of 2017 from Pancreatic Cancer and I inherited his camera equipment. My first photo I ever took was of two butterflies up at my family’s cabin and every time I look at the photo, I think of him. I feel remarkably close to him with every
